DARREN WALLACE 

Darren began his career working on Death Row as a Correctional Officer and worked his way up to the role of Senior Warden at one of Texas’ largest prisons, housing over 3,000 inmates. Shortly after his retirement, one of Wallace's previous inmates reached out to him to encourage him to apply at a staffing agency for second chances, owing to his strong leadership of staff and incarcerated individuals inside many of Texas’ largest prisons. Wallace is now the Criminal Justice Consultant to Cornbread Hustle, which helps people coming out of prison find meaningful employment. He has a passion for positively impacting individuals, families, and communities through providing opportunities thus reducing recidivism. Darren has a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice – Correctional Management.
