GLENDA SHEARN

Advisory Board Member 

Glenda received her BS in Biology from City College of New York before PA schooling. She received a BS in Physician Assistant from the Harlem Hospital / City College of New York - Sophie Davis School of Biomedical Education.Glenda has continually participated in community affairs by attending the NYC Citizen’s Police Academy as well as the Mount Vernon Citizen’s Police Academy. Glenda works on the medical contractual side of affairs at the NYC Department of Corrections at Riker’s Island for more than 40 years.

Glenda also had a 26 year career in the Army National Guard, serving in the NYS Medical Comman and was a first-responder during 9/11. She also saw duty during the Gulf War as well as in Afghanistan. Glenda is a NYS Chaplain as well.
